Vanuatu Adventure Race Multisport Events - 2012

The dates are set for the 2012 Vanuatu Adventure Multisport Races.  Choose to participate in one or both of these exciting events in teams of two in a beautiful South Pacific Island setting.  For full package prices and a run down on the events please see keep reading!

The Vanuatu Adventure Race – Millennium Cave Multisport

This amazing event will see teams Mountain Bike from Luganville, Santo up to a village using mainly dirt roads and they will also Mountain Bike along an old WWII Runway for Bombers

From the Villages they will trek on foot and then descend down into a steep canyon where they will find the entrance of the famous Millennium Cave.  Teams then will travel underground seeing many bats and an underground waterfall coming out at the junction of another river.  From here they will go canyoning down the Lost River and then tubing to the exit point where they will climb up and trek back to their bikes.

Back down the way they came, through Luganville to the beach where they will board inflatable kayaks and paddle up through passages between Santo and small tropical islands.

They will then paddle up a river to one of the famous Blue Holes for the finish

The Vanuatu Adventure Race – Holiday Inn Multisport

The newly refurbished Holiday Inn, Port Vila is the Hub for this one day Multisport event.

Teams will have a dawn start on the Mountain Bikes and will travel on sealed and dirt roads, some of the dirt road will see them ride along the coast for the sunrise. Teams will loop back to Holiday Inn for a transition into running.

Teams will run only mainly sealed roads from the Holiday Inn to the main wharf and return to Holiday Inn.

Following the run, you team will then board inflatable kayaks and paddle in First Lagoon to Erakor Island and return to Holiday in for the final discipline.

Finally a swim around the island at the Holiday in that contain the luxury over the water bungalows and part of the golf course to the finish.
